Favorite Lift/Movement and Why? Power Clean/Dead Lift. My legs are stronger and I can do them with a good technique.
Favorite Workout/Type of Workout and Why? I don’t know if I have a favorite, as every workout has its good points and tough points. If I were to pick, the partner workout that had us pushing weights, pulling the sleds and dragging the rope across the parking lot would be my favorite. The competition part of the work out just added to the fun (if you can call a workout fun!).
Goals for the Next Year? My goal is to increase my arm strength. I really want to do a pullup.
How has CrossFit Impacted your Life? It has made me realize it is never too late to improve myself. I am stronger and healthier than I was a few years ago. My diet has improved and I just feel better. I love the camaraderie of the gym. Just when you think that you can’t make it through the workout, there is always someone there to cheer/push you to dig deeper and find that extra needed to finish. Both Dom and Tony have made me excel in something I would never have thought would be possible at my age.
