Length of Time CrossFitting: 6.5 months
Favorite Lift/Movement and Why? My favorite lift would have to be the snatch, it requires so much coordination as well as concentration and it feels like such an accomplishment when you do it right. My favorite movement, would have to ultimately be a Burpee! When I first started CrossFit it was my least favorite, but I have quickly come to find out that I am very strong and performing this movement!
Favorite Workout/Type of Workout and Why? My favorite workout…hmm…well, no one workout in specific, but any workout in general that involves teamwork, as well as any type of running. I really just enjoy any workout that exercises a challenge for me so that I can learn what my limits and capabilities are.
Goals for the Next Year? Improve pull-ups, attempt chest to bar pull-ups, do more RX weight workouts!
How has CrossFit Impacted your Life? Crossfit has affected my life so positively. I’m stronger, healthier, actually in the best shape of my life. Not to mention I’ve made not only friends but family in the gym. It’s like no other experience I’ve ever had working out. I’m so grateful that I started at CFB!
